ABOUT

COACH FRAZIER

Tennis Pro, Philanthropist, Advocate for Youth

Hi, I’m Coach Cliff Frazier, Head Tennis Pro at Poinsettia Park in West Hollywood. As a former Division 1 tennis player at Alabama State University, and a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certified coach, I’m passionate about sharing the joys and benefits of tennis with players of all ages and skill levels.

A Legacy of Athleticism and Giving Back

Growing up in Los Angeles, I was inspired by my family’s commitment to athletics and community. My mother, Ronita Elease Elder, a pioneer in tennis and founder of Sports Explorer Inc., instilled in me the importance of giving back through sports. My late father, Cliff Frazier Jr., an All-American UCLA football player and NFL star, continues to inspire my determination and work ethic.

Coaching Philosophy

I believe in Trust, Patience, Effort, and Fun. Every player has the potential to succeed, and my coaching focuses on fundamentals, including racquet positioning, footwork, and mental conditioning. Creating a positive, supportive environment is key to my approach, where players are motivated and enjoy learning.

Aces4Kids: Developing the Next Generation

Through Aces4Kids Sports Explorer, I’m committed to providing youth of all economic backgrounds with opportunities to attend major tennis events, receive mentorship, and gain life skills to ensure these kids have the tools they need to thrive on and off the court.

Expanding Horizons

While based in Los Angeles, my coaching extends internationally. Tennis is a universal language, and I’m excited to connect with players from around the world.
